Certified in Mortgage Ethics (CME) Designation Course

This course is designed to enable the licensee to be CERTIFIED in Mortgage Ethics. Specific attention has been given to RESPA, Regulation Z, Mortgage Association Code of Ethics, and Advertising. Case studies will help the interactive learning experience from this course. Upon completion of this Certified in Mortgage Ethics course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify concepts of Ethics, describe the concept of general business ethics, and identify how a Code of Ethics compares and contrasts with the concept of general business ethics.
  • Briefly describe the professional standards enforcement process of the board or association.

This course is relevant as it deals with ethics that a working mortgage professional has in his or her day to day activity. A knowledge and understanding of Ethics is invaluable to the professional and benefits the public that the licensee serves.

Participation Requirement:
The Certified In Mortgage Ethics (CME) must complete the Ethics Workshop at the NAPMW Annual Meeting and Convention.
